Findings from inspectors highlighted the school’s strong leadership, pupil wellbeing, rich curriculum and nursery provision, the report stated: “Children entering the Nursery make rapid progress from their starting points due to highly effective teaching.”
Simon O’Keefe, Chief Executive Officer of The Stour Academy Trust said “As a long-time resident of Ashford, I’m particularly pleased with the report. Finberry is the fifth school in The Stour Academy Trust to receive a good or outstanding judgement from Ofsted in the last three years. Chilmington Green Primary, our second Ashford school, opened only last month and we intend to replicate the same excellent start as seen with Finberry before moving both schools to outstanding.”
